Meagan Dawson

Meagan Dawson serves as POAH’s Director of Finance and Accounting, where she primarily collaborates with project development staff to manage the accounting aspects of property acquisitions and development activities. Her responsibilities incorporate the period prior to acquisition, throughout construction and rehabilitation, and during the transition to operations. She oversees the cost certification process and works closely with the project manager and development accounting team. Additionally, Meagan contributes to the review of annual property audits, tax returns, and the corporate audit, as well as the consolidation and preparation of tax returns.

Meagan also plays a key role in maintaining relationships with POAH’s housing partners, regulators, auditors, and investors. She provides support to the POAH Inc. Board Audit and Finance Committee, under the direction of the CFO.

Before joining POAH, Meagan served as the Assistant Controller at Surus Development & Construction and as a Senior Development Accountant at HYM Investment Group.

Meagan is a graduate of Northeastern University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance Management and a Master of Business Administration.
