North Rhine Heights is one of 18 properties in the Cincinnati area acquired by POAH from The Model Group in May 2018.  This acquisition preserved 1,100 rental apartments at a time when the neighborhood was seeing significant investments in infrastructure, new public transportation options, and an expansion of the district’s art and dining scene.

Home to 62 low- and moderate-income families, Navarre Garrone consists of three scattered-site properties in the Walnut Hills, Evanston and Mt. Auburn neighborhoods of Cincinnati.

Magnolia Heights consists of 19 scattered-site properties in the historic Over-the-Rhine and West End neighborhoods of Cincinnati. It serves 98 moderate- to low-income families and comprises 1- 2- 3- 4- and 5-bedroom units.

Amenities include heating and air-conditioned units, hardwood floors, ceramic tile baths and kitchens, intercoms, quarry tile common area, on site laundry facilities, double-hung windows, pedestal vanities in bathrooms, new wood cabinets, and wainscoting chair-rails in hallways.

Burnet Place consists of seven historic buildings originally constructed between 1870 and 1903. Home to 62 low- and moderate-income families, it is located in the Walnut Hills, Mt. Auburn and Evanston neighborhoods of Cincinnati.

Abington Race and Pleasant Apartments consists of five historic buildings in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of downtown Cincinnati. The buildings include 50 affordable housing units for families at or below 50-60 percent of the area median income (AMI), and five commercial spaces.

Last renovated in February 2018, Abington Race and Pleasant Apartments is Enterprise Green Communities and LEED for HOMES certified.

Abigail Apartments comprises of one, two, three, and four-bedroom units serving low-income families in the historic West End neighborhood of Cincinnati 

POAH purchased Eddie Mae and Alex Johnson Apartments (64 units) and Butler Lindon Apartments (42 units) from longtime community-based non-profit Woodlawn East Community and Neighbors (WECAN) in October 2017. Both are vintage apartment hotels that had fallen into disrepair in the mid-late 1990s, which WECAN renovated as much-needed affordable housing with supportive services. POAH acquired the properties in order to preserve WECAN’s housing legacy and invest in much-needed renovations in order to keep the buildings affordable for the long term, while continuing to provide

Oxford Place and Oxford Gardens were originally developed by the Peoples Redevelopment Corporation (PRC), a community nonprofit organization. The buildings were constructed in 1978 and 1989 respectively and were supported by financing from RIHousing. In 2015, after nearly three decades of ownership, PRC selected POAH to carry on their important work and ensure the preservation of the developments.

Founders’ Court Apartments is a 32-unit family development located on Rt. 28, approximately 2.5 miles from the Hyannis town center and within walking distance of the Cape Cod Regional Transit bus service and the middle/high schools. A community day care facility is on site.

The property was built in 1989 by nonprofit Founders’ Court Corporation and has served low- and moderate-income households on Cape Cod with a mix of two- and three-bedroom apartments for 25 years. Apartment rents are based on incomes starting at 30% of the Area Medium Income to full market rate levels.

Greenwood Park Apartments is a 122-unit, 15-building apartment community located in the affluent and historic Kenwood neighborhood, just 3 blocks north of President Obama’s private residence. Originally built in 1974, Greenwood Park was purchased by POAH in the summer of 2016. Renovations to the building began in 2019 and were completed in 2020. They included accessibility retrofits, roof, window and boiler replacement, new energy efficient lighting and appliances, and kitchen and bathroom renovations.
